Women’s Aid

We worked with Women’s Aid to create a heartfelt digital campaign that raised awareness of their vital services. The result was an award-winning film that made a lasting impact and connected deeply with audiences

The Brief

Women’s Aid came to us for a powerful digital campaign to authentically share the stories of survivors, increase donations, and drive engagement with their services.

Our Approach

We produced three 90-second films using real survivor audio interviews paired with visuals of actresses to preserve anonymity. Drawing directly from survivor testimonies, the narratives highlighted emotions like claustrophobia and fear, ensuring authenticity.

The project was led by a female director to maintain sensitivity and filmed in team members’ homes to manage costs. To maximise impact, we created social edits that were activated and sustained on social media.

The Results

The campaign achieved remarkable success, doubling its fundraising target and drawing 30% new donors. The films amassed over 83,000 organic views across Facebook and Instagram, while a short paid campaign reached 42,000 people.  We also submitted the campaign to the Digital Impact Awards earning them a Gold for best video in charity and non-profit sector.
