Sykes Holiday Cottages decided that Christmas, 2017 was the time for them to take the leap into peak holiday booking season TV advertising.
After the success of our pet-friendly video marketing campaigns, they asked us to work with them again on creative, positioning and strategy for their new national campaign.
After the success of our pet-friendly video marketing campaigns, they asked us to work with them again on creative, positioning and strategy for their new national campaign. Following a series of creative sessions with the team at Sykes, we developed several campaign ideas and TV advert concepts.
The chosen theme, ‘Your Perfect Place Awaits’, features the diverse destinations that Sykes customers can discover across the breadth of the UK.
Our team managed the entire production process – developing the original creative concept, casting, planning, filming, post-production, scripting and storyboarding. It was a tight five-day filming schedule with one crew unit, and a wide range of locations.
Ranging from stunning castles to coastal cottages, and yurts to lighthouses, the television advert demonstrates that Sykes has the perfect match for all its customers, whether they are swell-seeking surfers or hiking hedonists.
There has been a hugely positive audience response to the advert, since it was first broadcast on Boxing Day last year. Here’s what Sykes had to say: “This is the second TV campaign that Hurricane has brought to life for us, and it’s been a really rewarding creative journey, once again.
