‘Chorus’ Fundraising Film Campaign

As part of our charity video strategy for Shelter’s Christmas fund-raising campaign, we created an emotive slice of brand content.

The Campaign

The film focuses on the inspiring story of one of Shelter’s clients, Missie Biellie Dee, who goes on a journey from being a successful singer to becoming homeless and now with Shelter’s help finds a home and is singing again. The backdrop of the film is a performance by the Sing for Shelter choir at St Martin-in-the-Field, in London, to record their charity single, “A Place to Call Home”. The single is a collaboration with Shelter, ENO and a former BBC Young Composer of the Year, Alex Woolf. Missie Biellie Dee enjoyed a successful career in musicals but became homeless after returning to London to look after her mother, who then sadly passed away. By helping Missie secure a place to live, the charity has also empowered her to reconnect with her talent and passion for singing.

The Results

The video has received a hugely positive response so far. Watch this space for updates.
